Relationship in workplace have big impact on achieving the business objectives and growth, it’s not only about the knowledge, experience and skills you have, but also the personal trust and respect between you and your team members.

When employees around you are not feel happy in workplace, maybe you will believe that you are the manager therefore you are right and they are all wrong, therefore you will not check or realise your own mistake or development needs. So you will rarely make an attempt to change yourself and continue to wait for others to change or understand you. For example when some employees feel they been treated less favour in the pay level or promotion opportunity because of their gender, age or ethnic group, they will lose their motivation and straggle to do their tasks. You need here be flexible and think about their feeling and not just ignore and more forward.

If people around you are not able to get happiness from you or the way you manage, then you need to look at your own life in a detached way to see what you are doing and where you could change. Even a slightest change brought by you with sincerity will have a great effect on those around.
